WEEK 7 AND WEEK 8



Good morning, 

The following activities are your homework for the next two weeks: 
  • Activities 1 to 8 for school week 7 (25th to 29th of May). Deadline: 1st of June at 14:00.
  • Activities 9 to 16 for school week 8 (1st to 5th of June). Deadline: 8th of May at 14:00.

WEEK 7 (25th to 29th of May)



ACTIVITY 1 

Now, it’s time to start unit number 8, our final unit. Go to a NEW page in your notebook and make the frontpage of this unit. You have to include:
- The title: Unit 8. Environment.
- A drawing.

ACTIVITY 2
Watch this video to learn the vocabulary, both oral (the pronunciation) and written (the spelling). You DON’T have to send anything.





ACTIVITY 3

Listen and put the pictures in order. There are two extra pictures.

Play this game: Game Write the expression 
You have to read the descriptions, look at the pictures and write the correct expression.

ACTIVITY 5
Look at the picture and find the things on this list. Write them in your notebook.

  • Five things to switch off.
  • Five things to recycle.
  • Six things to clean.



ACTIVITY 6

Read and listen to the comic (activity 18 at page 76). Then answer the questions in your notebook.







ACTIVITY 7

Practise the pronunciation of the sounds /tʃ/ and /ʃ/ by watching the first video. After that, practise the tongue twister (activity 16 at page 75). When you are ready, record yourself and send me the recording saying the tongue twister. 

 

 




ACTIVITY 8


Read the text and write true or false. Then correct the false sentences in your notebook.

Read this questionnaire and answer for you to check if you are a green kid (green = environmentally friendly / respetuoso con el medio ambiente): Questionnaire: Are you a green kid?
Send me a photo of your result.


ACTIVITY 10 (Complementary -> voluntaria)


Think and write: What other actions can you do to help the environment?


ACTIVITY 11

Watch this video to learn how to use the future with “going to”. After that, study the chart. You DON’T have to send anything.

ACTIVITY 12 (Complementary -> voluntaria)

Select “GOING TO” and practise. You have to make sentences about the pictures by clicking on the bubbles in the correct order (they are near each other) and send me a photo, as usual. This is an example:




ACTIVITY 13

Listen and read the dialogue (activity 2 at page 72). Then copy the sentences and complete them with the names of the characters.










ACTIVITY 14

Listen and complete the text (put the numbers and the words in your notebook, don't copy the text). If you need help, these are the words that are missing: Missing words of activity 14


 





ACTIVITY 15

Listen to the recording and match the girls (1-3) with the pictures (a-b). Then write what they are going to do.
