I hope you are okay and you have enjoyed your holidays. From now on, we are going to work using this blog. You have to do the following activities:
  • Activities 1 to 7 must be done during week 1 (14th to 19th of April); you have until next Monday (20th of April) at 14:00 to send them. After this date, they won't be admitted because the solutions will be published in the blog on that same day.
  • Activities 8 to 14 must be done during week 2 (20th to 26th of April, NOT BEFORE); you have until Monday 27th of April at 14:00 to send them. After this date, they won't be admitted because the solutions will be published in the blog on that same day.

Espero que estés bien y que hayáis disfrutado vuestras vacaciones. A partir de ahora, vamos a trabajar usando este blog. Tenéis que hacer las siguientes actividades:

ACTIVITY 1


Open your book at page 36 and revise the food vocabulary. Watch his video as many times as you want to and practise the pronunciation of these words (You don't have to send me anything).

Once you have the answers of activity 2, classify them into the countries they are from, as in the example.

After watching the videos, you have to record yourself answering these three questions and send me the audio.

Choose a dish (food) and search for this information:

  
* If you don't know what the flavours mean, take a look at this picture.



Then, write about your dish, as in this example. You are free to choose the format: you can do your task using the computer, on a poster board or in your notebook.
 



If you need it, you can use this model (you DON’T have to write the words in brackets; they indicate the information you have to include in the lines).

Make a photo of one of the games and send it to me.
  •  Game 1. Match the past simple of the verbs.
  • Game 2. Choose the verb according to the picture and select its correct form in the past simple to complete the sentence.
  • Game 3. Order the words to make sentences.

This picture represents the memories of a birthday party. Copy the text, leaving an empty line under each written line (as in the picture). Then, read, look at the picture and correct the text.

These are difficult times for all of us. We miss a lot of things but we need to stay positive and safe at home. Instead of focusing on negativity, I suggest you the following task:
  • Make a list of things you did during this period that made you feel happy (minimum: three). This is my example; I hope it serves you as inspiration (you DON’T have to copy it).
